London Tube Matte Painting

This is a school assignment:
We had to make a matte painting for our character (in my case Takdo) to 'walk in'.
"Baker Street Tube station keeps a little piece of paradise hidden in the darkness."

Finally the London fellar is done.

London has had some serious damage, floods, pollution, etc.

The year is 2111 and survivors are looking for fresh air in the underground network that's been isolated thanks to the flood. They need these places to grow plants and food, to become self-sufficient.

He's the guys looking for those new areas, the Explorer.

It's a school assignment so this is my first next-gen Character.

Less than 15k tris props included and skinned on a biped.

4x 2K maps (Normals,spec,gloss,diff+alpha)

Shaded with Xoliul-Shader 1.5 (Laurens Corijn shader)

Stereoscopic Photo (Crossed-eyes technique) cross your eyes until the ghost images meet in the center and focus on that new image to see it in '3D'. No glasses needed.

Day 12 - 19

Yay starting to learn allot each time I draw! It's not only that but once you are doing a drawing everyday you start to think about it all the time and start looking at the world differently. I'm starting to paint in my dreams already haha but its fun!

My portrait skills need some more love so that's whats going to be the subject for a couple of days.

100 day drawing marathon

Hey I started a challenge for myself. I'm going to make at least 1 paint or sculpt or drawing every day untill school starts again, that's by coincidence 100 days (now 96 anymore)
